Many common bike problems can be diagnosed and sorted within around half an hour.
Typical jobs include:
Gear adjustment • Brake adjustment • Hydraulic brake bleeding • Cable replacement • Brake pad replacement • Chain fitting • Minor wheel adjustment • Component fitting
Some jobs take longer depending on what’s involved. If I find more work is needed, or parts are required, I’ll contact you before continuing to discuss choices and costs.

For a bike that needs attention in several areas rather than one individual repair.
I’ll check the bike over and work through the adjustments and minor maintenance needed to get it running properly and riding well.
A full strip and rebuild. The bike is washed, components removed, cleaned and degreased, inspected and serviced as required, then the bike is rebuilt, adjusted and tuned.
Everything in the Rebuild, plus the full Ride Shiny Bikes treatment — detailed paintwork, minor imperfections addressed where possible, polished and finished to get the bike looking its best.
Wherever practical, I’ll service and repair existing components rather than simply replace them. If parts do need replacing, I’ll always discuss the options and costs with you before going ahead.
